WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

  • Every shoot needs a line producer, and we have worked with more than thirty of them
  • We want one we can trust on every film, who knows our way of working before the first recce

THE JOB IN ONE LINE

  • You turn the approved budget into a shoot that happens: locations, permissions, equipment, crew and logistics, with the money accounted for

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Locations and permissions

  • Scout and lock locations with the director and production designer
  • Get every permission, police NOC and society letter in hand before the shoot

Equipment and crew

  • Book camera, lighting, grip and generators to the DOP's list
  • Hire the production crew, spot team and drivers, and brief them well

Logistics

  • Travel, stays, transport, food, vanity vans and the base camp plan
  • For outstation shoots, a local team in place before we land

Money on the ground

  • Run the shoot float, collect every bill, and settle accounts within a week of wrap

Plan B

  • Weather cover, a backup location and a backup vendor for anything that can break the day

HOW WE WORK

  • Chase the last 5%. We only hire people who pursue excellence. Most work stops at good enough. The last 5%, the detail nobody asked for, is where our films are made
  • Move first. Start before you feel ready. A rough version today beats a perfect one next week
  • Lead with the answer. Be clear, give the context, then say what you need
  • Update before anyone asks. "Done", "doing it by [date]" or "stuck, here's my suggestion" are all fine. Silence never is
  • Plan for the obstacle. If X goes wrong, then Y, decided in advance
  • Show the number, not the story. Results over effort
  • Raise the hard thing early. Flag the risk on the day you see it

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU

  • Know Mumbai's locations, vendors and permission routes
  • Have done outstation and multi-city shoots
  • Keep a float accounted to the rupee

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF YOU

  • Find out about a permission problem on the day
  • Settle accounts a month after wrap
  • Overspend quietly and explain later

HOW WE'LL MEASURE YOU

  • Shoot days lost to logistics or permissions: zero
  • Line budget against actual spend
  • Accounts settled within a week of wrap

WHAT YOU GET

  • A hot seat. We're setting up our processes right now, so your work shapes how they turn out
  • A real view of how a production company runs, from brief to delivery
  • You learn from the best in our system, and you help build it
  • A house with more than 150 international creative awards, Cannes Lions among them

THE DETAILS

  • Freelance. Paid per project or on a monthly retainer, agreed in writing before you start
  • Starts immediately, on live films
  • Mumbai and outstation, on recces and on set
